Mark Hamill appears at White House briefing and calls Biden ‘Joe-B-Wan Kenobi’

Mark Hamill says the force is strong in this White House, which appears at a press conference to end the week and sing the praises of President Bidenwhich he already has the nickname.

The legendary actor surprised the press corps on Friday, along with the press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and explained how he met the prez…highlighting some of his legislative achievements.

Hamill eventually opened the floor for questions – with a reporter asking about MH’s meeting with POTUS. While he’s coy about what exactly he and Biden were talking about, he does admit to christening JB “Joe-B-Wan Kenobi” — and there were laughs.

Hamill admits this wasn’t his first trip to the WH, and said he stopped by as well Carter And Obama White Houses…but this meeting sounds more intimate – totally out of this world.

Like we said… the visit comes a day before May 4 – a holiday for Star Wars fans – so it seems like a smart PR move by the White House to generate some attention and support for the president as he heads to head is in a difficult election cycle.

Of course, it probably wasn’t difficult. Hamill is a lifelong supporter of the Democrats… and he has been critical of Biden’s general election opponent, Donald Trumpin the past.
