Chennai: A man who came to the rescue of an electrician who had suffered an electric shock was killed after coming into contact with a live wire at a house in Tiruttani. Sait, the electrician, was hired by a resident of Tiruttani to deal with an electrical problem at his home. Sait accidentally touched the live wire and was electrocuted. At that moment, Arul, 38, rushed to save him but suffered a shock himself. Before residents could disconnect power, the two had collapsed. When they were taken to the government hospital in Tiruttani, doctors confirmed that Arul was already dead. Sait has been admitted for treatment.
