Look: Magic couldn’t stop Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell

Even though the Orlando Magic defeated the Cavaliers in Game 6, they couldn’t stop Donovan Mitchell.

Mitchell had 34 points through three quarters of Cleveland’s 103-96 loss in Orlando. In a low-scoring game, part of a low-scoring series, the Cavaliers’ All-Star guard tried to do it all himself, dishing out three assists but mostly calling his own number with a game-high 50 points.

They’re all guards for the Cavs, with Darius Garland scoring 21 points through three quarters. The starting backcourt had 71 of Cleveland’s 96 points on Friday night, a testament to the offensive play of the two All-Stars and the lack of scoring punch from their teammates.

The dynamic duo’s performance wasn’t enough, and it’s now a do-or-die game Sunday in Cleveland.
