The Grammy winner opened up about the collaboration in an interview with Nylon. “I just picked what I would normally wear,” she said of choosing her favorite styles. “My mother always told me that wearing sunglasses prevents people from seeing your energy and from connecting with you. I haven’t worn many, but now they are so nice. I’m learning how to accessorize them, how to add them to my personality. I basically tried to choose the ones I would normally wear.

Her favorite Quay sunglasses are the On Set sunglasses with visor. “They are so cute. I (also) feel like a classic Inspector Gadget, like a sleek, black pair, which is another great shape that I feel is fire day and night. You can go formal, to secretive, to secret agent, to also sexy. It’s divine.”

SZA gets plenty of chances to show off her favorite Quay shades. After taking her SOS Tour to Australia and New Zealand last month, SZA is back in the United States to take the stage at the Sol Blume Music Festival in Sacramento, California on May 5.
