Providence, RI – Forward Vincent Arseneau scored two goals and an assist, while goaltender Brandon Bussi stopped all 34 shots he faced to help the Providence Bruins defeat the Hartford Wolf Pack 6-0 in game two of the semifinals of the Atlantic Division on Friday evening at the Amica Mutual Pavilion. Brett Harrison scored a goal and two assists, while Ian Mitchell found the back of the net twice to help Providence tie the series at 1-1.

How it happened

2:43 into the game, Jared McIsaac’s shot from the top of the left circle after a draw by Arseneau was deflected off the right post, giving the P-Bruins a 1-0 lead. Harrison was credited with a secondary assist.

Patrick Brown stole the puck on the cross and found Jayson Megna in the slot, where he fired a shot past the goaltender’s glove, extending the Providence lead to 2-0 with 6:16 to play in the first frame.
