Part one of two. A child abandoned in a busy market alerts police to the fact that his babysitter has been kidnapped and severely beaten, in what turns out to be a case of mistaken identity. Neil recognizes the intended target as a psychiatrist he worked with on a previous case in which a mental patient in her care was shot dead on his orders – so their reunion is less than cordial.
