Drake Taunts Kendrick Lamar With N-Word In New ‘Family Matters’ Diss

Drake wasted no time in firing back at Kendrick Lamar. On Friday evening (May 3), the OVO Sound boss dropped ‘Family Matters’, a seven-minute long diss track aimed at his current nemesis.

He starts the song with the word ‘n####’, the one word K. Dot said he didn’t want to hear him say again, and repeats it throughout the song. He also admits that the “euphoria” line about Drake’s son struck a chord.

“N#### I said it, I know you’re mad,” he spits. “I emptied the clip for kinder pricks / You said my seed is dealing with his dad now / I gotta go bad.” From there, he sings “I was really trying to keep it PG” over and over again, which could also be a reference to Kendrick’s label, pgLang.

Things only get more disrespectful from there, with Drake suggesting he has no evidence to back up the claims he made in “6:16 in LA,” specifically about the leaking of private information by his own OVO camp members .

“You know who really rocks a set, my n#### YG,” he continues. “You know who really pops a set, my n#### Chuck T/You know who even pops a set, there’s CB (Chris Brown)/N#### Cole is losing sleep over this, it’s me not /You better have some paperwork or that s### is fake tea/Can’t rap about no ramblings we can’t read/I mean it’s true and #### got me slimed for my ap.

“Just like Metro n#### slimed him down because of his biggest pressure/Begging here for attention n#### say please/Always rapping like you wanna get the slaves free/You’re just acting like an activist, it’s make believe.”

Just like Kendrick Lamar referenced Drake’s family, the 6 God goes after his with, “You say you hate the girls, I f###, but what do you really mean?/I’ve been to black and white and everything in between/You’re the black messiah Arranging a mixed queen/And using vanilla cream to boost your confidence/On some Bobby s### I wanna know what Whitney needs/All that puppy love was over in your late teens.

“Why don’t you ever hold your son and say cheese?/We could have left the kids out of this, don’t blame me/You’re a dog and you know it, you’re just playing nice/Your baby mama captions always scream : ‘save me’/You did her dirty all her life, you’re trying to make peace/I heard one of those little kids might be Dave Free.”

Drake also accuses Kendrick of calling 2Pac’s estate to have the “Taylor Made Freestyle” diss removed. Anyway, this is a developing story. Kendrick Lamar has already dropped another comment. Come back with AllHipHop soon and dive into “Family Matters” above.
