Hassan: The Criminal Investigation Department, which is probing the sexual abuse charges against Prajwal Revanna, NDA’s Hassan Lok Sabha candidate and JD(S) leader, has registered a case against him following a complaint by a party worker.

In her complaint, the woman alleged that Prajwal raped her at gunpoint and also made videos of her. The woman further accused Prajwal of taking her to the MP quarter. After reaching there the accused not only committed the crime but also threatened to kill her and her husband if the incident is revealed by her to anyone. According to the complainant, the accused had also threatened to make her video public if she did not cooperate.

Case of abduction filed against Prajwal’s father

Meanwhile, another case was filed against Prajwal’s father and JD(S) MLA H D Revanna and his confidant Satish Babanna, for allegedly abducting a mother of three from her home in Krishnaraja Nagar town in Mysuru district, police said. The case was filed following a complaint by the 20-year-old son of the victim.

According to the complainant, some videos of the incident showed that his mother was allegedly tied and raped by Prajwal Revanna. The police have filed two separate cases in the incident and have also arrested Sathish Babanna in the matter. Notably, H D Revanna is the son of former Prime Minister and JD(S) patriarch H D Deve Gowda.

Prajjwal faces several allegations of sexual harassment against women

In recent times, several allegations of sexual exploitation against women have emerged against Prajwal. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was constituted by the state government to look into allegations. Several videos, involving Hassan MP, sexually abusing women, have started making rounds in recent times. Hassan constituency went to polls on April 26.
