Can I watch UFC 301 for free? Livestreams, PPV Price, Full Card for Pantoja vs. Erceg

Alexandre Pantoja returns home to Brazil as he defends the UFC flyweight title against Steve Erceg at UFC 301.

Pantoja is a former contestant on The Ultimate Fighter and is 11-3 in the octagon. Three of his last four fights have resulted in performance bonuses, including a split-decision win in July 2023 against Brandon Moreno to win the UFC flyweight title. It will be the first time he has competed in Brazil since 2013.

Erceg is ranked tenth in the UFC flyweight rankings. The Aussie is on an 11-fight win streak and has won three in a row inside the octagon. The former Eternal MMA flyweight champion knocked out Matt Schnell in March. It’s the right place and the right time for the 28-year-old, who earns his first shot at UFC gold.

“Astro Boy” is the underdog in the fight, even with six wins via submission. He will not have to hold back against the dangerous Pantoja, who has eight victories via knockout and ten via submission. Pantoja has also completed the distance nine times. Erceg enters camp ready to find holes in the championship game.

“People almost made him hold the center and cover up while he rested,” Erceg told UFC.com. “A lot of people seem to really want to wrestle him back because they’re worried about his jiu jitsu. The people who have been the most successful, I think, are the people who used their whole game and didn’t just try to stay away and strike. I try to do the same. I’m going to mix up MMA and not let him dictate where the fight goes and what the pace of the fight looks like.
