Ace Director Vetrimaran’s IIFC signs MoU with producer Ishari K Ganesh’s Vels University

The International Institute of Film and Culture (IIFC), founded by director Vetrimaaran, is known for offering free courses to socially and economically backward students since 2021. Now, the top director’s institute has chosen to sign an MoU with producer Ishari’s Vels University Ganesh to take three film industry related courses. Read on to know what the MoU is about.

Director Vetrimaran‘s The International Institute for Film and Culture (IIFC) has now signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the producer Ishari K. Ganesh‘s Vels University, where courses such as B.Sc Film Studies (three years), M.Sc. Film and Cultural Studies (two years) and a PG Diploma in Media Skills (one year) are offered free of charge to students.

Speaking at the MoU signing event, director Vetrimaaran said, “When I started my film career, I was able to learn cinema by working as an assistant director with a big director on a minimum salary.
