As an Ocean State, Rhode Island has plenty of beautiful beaches and associated beach resorts that both locals and tourists can flock to in the summer.

But only one was recently named by Thrillist as one of the country’s top resorts: Narragansett.

In April, the travel site published its list of the “20 Biggest Beach Cities in the US,” looking for places that combine both great beaches and cities with plenty to do.

“Our group of travel writers have highlighted the best of the best, places where those sands give way to dreamy towns, where the locals coexist with the visitors, and the food and drinks become the stuff of endless summer memories,” wrote the site. the list.
