Seahawks sign 16 UDFAs

The Seahawks front office has had a busy week. In addition to signing a defensive tackle in the first round Byron Murphy to his rookie contract, the organization added 16 undrafted rookies to the roster:

A handful of UDFAs in Seattle earned notable bonuses. After accumulating 2,993 yards and 21 touchdowns over the past three years at Boise State, George Holani was given a $15,000 signing bonus and $100,000 of his base salary guaranteed, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Elsewhere on the attack, Jack Westover earned a $25,000 signing bonus and $50,000 guaranteed on his salary, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston. The Washington tight end has been a productive member of the offense the past two years, with 77 catches for 775 yards and five touchdowns. South Dakota State offensive lineman Garrett Greenfield got the most guaranteed money of the bunch. Wilson notes that the rookie got $195,000 in guaranteed money, including a $20,000 signing bonus.

On the other side of the ball, the Seahawks paid for a pair of undrafted defensive linemen. After collecting 17 sacks and 27.5 tackles for loss in three seasons with Houston, Nelson Ceaser was guaranteed $110,000, including a $10,000 signing bonus, according to ESPN’s Brady Henderson. Grambling State Sunny Anderson received the same guarantees to tackle Seattle, according to Wilson.
