Triple H announces huge milestone for SmackDown in France

– WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque announced Last night’s SmackDown in Lyon-Décines, France, at the LDLC arena, is the highest-grossing SmackDown of all time. The event broke SmackDown’s previous record the night before WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia.

Triple H wrote: “Tonight’s event in Lyon, France is officially the highest-grossing #SmackDown of all time, breaking a record set just four weeks ago in Philly ahead of #WrestleMania XL. Can’t wait to see what @WWEUniverse brings to #WWEBacklash tomorrow, streaming live at 1pm ET @peacock”

SmackDown was held at the LDLC Arena, the same venue for today’s WWE Backlash France event. A reported 12,341 tickets were sold for last night’s show and approximately 12,621 for Backlash.
