Academy X hosts its graduation ceremony at Kuwait University

KUWAIT: With media sponsorship from Kuwait Times and Kuwait News, along with Zain’s sponsorship, Academy This graduation marks the completion of the program for the first cohort, with more groups to join Academy The program focuses specifically on empowering girls in the fields of technology and artificial intelligence, teaching them how to kickstart their own businesses. During the event, the registered girls presented their final projects, which they worked on throughout the program.

Upon completion, the girls will receive certificates recognizing their proficiency in using technology for entrepreneurial activities, along with trophies awarded to the best performing projects. CODED, the organization behind Academy Rahaf Al-Enezi, the leader of the initiative at CODED, told Kuwait Times: “Today we gather to inspire and encourage girls, letting them know that they have the ability to excel in this field and become integral become members of the technology community.

Each participating group has a dedicated stand where they present and explain their projects, articulating their purpose and potential for profitability. At these stands, visitors have the opportunity to engage with the girls, gain insight into the complexity of the projects and how they have addressed specific needs or challenges.”

Additionally, the girls discussed the revenue generation strategies associated with their projects, demonstrating a keen understanding of how their technological innovations could translate into viable business ventures. Through these interactions, attendees gained a comprehensive understanding of the girls’ entrepreneurial endeavors and the economic opportunities inherent in the intersection of technology and business.
