Jessica O’Mahony recycles wedding dress while judging in Punchestown

Influencer Jessica O’Mahony made it past the sartorial post for the first time when she recycled one of her wedding dresses while doing judging duties in Punchestown.

Jessica from Cork, married to the wife of Irish rugby star Peter O’Mahony, brought the bridal tradition of ‘something old, something new’ to the Punchestown winners’ enclosure as she wore a Cult Gaia dress.

She wore the beautiful dress for the first time during her wedding evening in France two years ago.

True to couture form, Jessica – who has amassed a huge social media following thanks to her regular style tips – led the fashion pack at Punchestown.

The mother-of-three embraced the upcycle trend as she stepped out in the off-white off-the-shoulder midi dress, which she teamed with glitter ball earrings and a cushion-covered headband.

And not content with limiting herself to ‘just judging’, Jessica’s upcycled ensemble was itself a top tip for stepping out and looking your best.

Jessica has a reputation for doing things twice: she had two weddings to husband Munster and Irish star Peter.

She first married Peter at an intimate celebration in the grounds of Jess’ family home in Cork in 2020, when pandemic restrictions put the kibosh on large wedding celebrations.

But two years later, Jessica was allowed to walk down the aisle for a second time when restrictions were lifted. The couple had a suitably star-studded soiree in the south of France, where they renewed their vows in front of a large contingent of family and friends.
