Match day guide: Albion v Aston Villa

The countdown to kick-off starts here! Take a look at everything happening around The Amex on game day.

Eat Drink

There will be a reduced range of food and drink available in the fan zone on match days for the remainder of the season while construction work takes place.

There will be one fish and chip unit, as well as one tea and coffee unit, which can be found opposite the Club Superstore.

We also have street vendors wandering around the fan zone selling lager.

During this period there will be a greater possibility to purchase food and drinks in the stadium halls. There will be additional mobile bar units and additional staff, as well as an increase in products in the kiosks. View our food and drink menu from the kiosks here.

There will still be a variety of special offers on offer at each match – tomorrow there will be a Sunday lunch in a Yorkshire pudding.

Fan zone

The Disco Bug will be joining us in the fan zone on Sunday, so head over there for some pre-match tunes!

Get your match day selfie in the photo booth in the East Lower Stand.

Please note that flames will explode when players enter the field.

Reminder of the new multiball system

The Premier League has updated the regulations and guidelines for the multi-ball system, which came into effect from match round 30.

This is done to minimize interruption of matches when the ball goes out of play.

  • When the ball goes out of play and cannot be quickly retrieved, players must go to the nearest cone to collect a replacement ball themselves to resume play
  • 4x extra balls are located on the sidelines
  • Ball assistants are not allowed to return a ball to a player
  • Ball assistants are required to replace a ball in an empty cone each time a replacement ball is used
  • Ball assistants should not be placed next to the cones so that it is clear that they are not returning the balls to the players

Bag sizes

Bags larger than A4 size (297mm x 210mm) are not allowed in the stadium. Any bags left outside the stadium will be removed and thrown away.

Mobile ticket sales

Before you head to the Amex, don’t forget to charge your phone and download your tickets to your phone’s wallet.

Have your pass ready before you get to the turnstiles.

The tickets appear at the bottom of the Apple Wallet or in the Passes tab of Google Pay. You will be asked to do this when you open Google Pay. If your phone doesn’t have NFC, tap the ‘Show Code’ option.

Please note that the ticket office will only answer questions relating to the Brentford match.

Are you unable to attend?

Please include your match or season ticket on the ticket exchange if you cannot attend and if it is sold, the money will be refunded to your account after the match.

In accordance with normal exchange rules, all prices for tickets sold are the adult rate.

1901 Club members can use the ticket transfer so a guest can attend in your place.

Fan behavior

We work hard to keep football a safe, inclusive place for everyone to enjoy. If you witness discriminatory or offensive behaviour, please contact our anti-social behavior line via text or WhatsApp on 07880 196442.

Seeing it. Say it. Sorted.

As a reminder to fans, the Premier League has issued the following guidance on displaying flags of countries in conflict in stadiums: The safety of everyone attending matches is a priority. Following consultation by the Premier League with safety and security experts, clubs, football partners and external stakeholders, supporters attending matches will not be allowed to bring Israeli and Palestinian flags into Premier League stadiums for the foreseeable future.

Here’s a reminder of our stadium entry guidelines. Security checks will be completed before entering the turnstiles.

Security

The Club takes the protection of all fans attending the Amex seriously and encourages any concerns or concerns about young people or adults at risk to be raised with the nearest steward where our matchday team can respond appropriately.

Autographs and selfies

All players will not stop to sign or pose for selfies when arriving or leaving the stadium – as it is no longer safe to do so.

Instead, we will be offering a number of spots at each home match to our junior season ticket holders and MyAlbion+ junior members, so they can get to the stadium early for extensive selfie and autograph opportunities with the squad, in a safe environment when the players arrive.
