Arizona guards Caleb Love and KJ Lewis received invitations to the G League Elite Camp in Chicago next weekend, giving them the opportunity to play their way into the more prestigious NBA Combine.

Former Arizona players Keshad Johnson and Pelle Larsson were invited to the NBA Combine on Friday, but UA’s four draft-testing players were not: Love, Lewis, guard Jaden Bradley and forward Trey Thompson.

In announcing the 78 players invited to the combine on Friday, the NBA said a “select number of notable players” would be invited during the G League camp from May 10 to 11 to play for the combine from May 12 to 19 to stay.

The NBA did not release its invite list for the G League Elite Camp, but ESPN’s Jonathan Givony reported a list of 44 invited players and said at least a half-dozen would be invited to the combine. Former Santa Clara UA wing Adama Bal was also on the G League camp roster.
