Goa registered their second consecutive win as they sailed past Chhattisgarh over a 4-0 win in the Swami Vivekananda U20 Men’s National Football Championship at Narainpur, on
Saturday.

Goa’s Dalwin Coelho scored a brace while Adarsh Raj netted one from the spot followed by Soham Nagvekar strike to secure them their second win.

Goa moved to the top of the Group B with six points from two matches followed closely by Delhi in second position with same points.

In the first half Goa displayed control in the midfield creating opportunities to score but were denied breakthrough by the hosts before halftime.

In the second half, Goa broke the deadlock as Dalwin Coelho found the back of the net in the 48th minute.

Fueled by the goal, Dalwin Coelho continued to press in the opponent half and four minutes later fired a shot to secure his brace giving Goa a
two-goal cushion.

In the stoppage time Goa’s Adarsh Raj placed the ball in the back of the net from the spot just before Soham Nagvekar fired one in to secure them a commanding 4-0 win.
