‘Percy Jackson’ Replaces Showrunners Jonathan E. Steinberg & Dan Shotz with Craig Silverstein (EXCLUSIVE)

The two helped showrunner the first season of the series along with the original writer, Rick Riordan. The duo returns to finish work on their adult FX series The old manstarring Jeff Bridges.

We also heard from that episode eight writer Craig Silverstein has taken over as showrunner for season 2. Silverstein has walked several shows, including Twist: Washington’s spies And Nikita. Avatar: The Last Airbender season 1 showrunner Albert Kim also came over to Executive Produce Season 2 while working with Silverstein on Nikita. Production is expected to begin later this fall Rick Riordan’s blog. When we contacted Disney for a response, they said this information was incorrect.
