Triple H Reveals Potential Host for WWE Premium Live Event

The Backlash Premium Live Event took place on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines, France and fans enjoyed everything that took place during the show. So much so that Triple H has now revealed he is considering another major country for a future International Premium Live Event.

Speaking at the post-WWE Backlash press conference, Triple H shared his excitement for Italy after a particularly exciting visit during WWE’s latest tour. Reflecting on the positive reception and energy of the Italian fans, he said he would focus more on Italy and consider it as an important venue for a Premium Live Event.

“On this tour over the last few days, Italy has been pretty crazy. So when I get home, I will be looking heavily at Italy.”

The Cerebral Assassin recognized that Italy has growth potential in terms of fan base and entertainment options. However, he tempered expectations by saying that while plans are being made, it is unlikely that a major event will take place as early as next year. Instead, WWE carefully examines international markets to determine where their shows would be most successful and well received by fans.

“I love it. As far as the factors go, I’m not saying next year, but it’s definitely something we’ll get back to. We want to go to places where WWE will be enjoyed the most. We will dig into it and hopefully have announcements for everyone in many major international markets.”

We’ll have to wait and see if WWE will eventually host a Premium Live Event in Italy, as the company has already seen great success in France, Puerto Rico and other countries outside the US.
