Lupita Nyong'o wears pointy shoes for BBC Radio One in London

Lupita Nyong’o was spotted in London on Wednesday in a pair of ALDO Stessy 2.0 closed-toe stiletto pumps while doing press for her new film ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’.

The actress chose the brown multicolor for her work day, although the heel comes in 11 different shades and retails for $98, and offers a slightly lower heel and a longer toe box. Nyong’o was seen in the brand’s Stessysling slingback heel earlier this week.

The upcoming film, scheduled for release on June 28, is an apocalyptic horror film directed and written by Michael Sarnoski. The spin-off prequel and the third part in the film series “A Quiet Place” in which Nyong’o plays the lead role alongside Djimon Hounsou, Joseph Quinn and Alex Wolff.

The elevated sandals, styled by Micaela Erlanger, have been a staple of the actress’ wardrobe in recent weeks. In April, Nyong’o showed up at the 2024 CinemaCon event in Los Angeles wearing a pair of strappy sandals by Betsey Johnson. The shoes had a leopard sole, a velvet rosette with imitation pearl embellishments, a 3-inch metal stiletto heel and an ankle strap with a set of small crystallized buckles. The ‘Black Panther’ star is a frequent supporter of Aldo, but also considers Calvin Klein and Chanel to be some of her other favorites when it comes to shoe brands.
