50 Cent reaches career highlight: bags coveted entrepreneurial award

50 Cent has reached another milestone in his career after receiving a coveted entrepreneurial award.

Shortly after unveiling his latest venture – a new G-Unit studio in Shreveport, Louisiana – the business mogul is being lauded for his multifaceted achievements in music, entertainment and more at The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE ) 2024 Entrepreneurial Spirits Awards Gala .

“I want to thank all the teachers, all the mentors and all the volunteers who have supported G-Unit so far, because without them the organization will not be as successful as it is today,” 50 Cent said during his acceptance speech.

Last month, 50 Cent got the royal treatment with his own day out in Shreveport, Louisiana. Mayor Tom Arceneaux presented him with the keys to the city during the mid-April celebration, capping off the celebration after his big studio news.

“Ladies, gentlemen, Mayor Tom Arceneaux and the great people of Shreveport, it is an honor for me to stand before you today,” 50 Cent said at the event. “As someone who has always believed in the transformative power of music, film and television, I am very excited to bring you the expansion of film and television through G-Unit Studios here in Shreveport.”
