Intain acquires IN-D.ai

To entaila New York-based company specializing in digital structured finance, has acquired IN-D.ai, a Singapore-based company specializing in the transformation of unstructured documents and data into actionable insights.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

With the acquisition, Intain will automate the processing of unstructured documents and data in asset-backed financing.

IN-D.ai is an artificial intelligence platform that supports financial institutions in developing widespread operations. Using AI, the platform processes documents, images and videos and synthesizes data to automate critical processes such as due diligence, KYC, operational risk management and insurance claims administration. The technology has been used in several projects, including zero-touch partner onboarding for a taxi service and a pilot with the Indian government to improve accessibility to consumer dispute cases.

Intain provides a platform that uses a combination of blockchain, artificial intelligence and other digital technologies to create a collaborative data environment for lenders, issuers, investors and other parties involved in asset-backed transactions. Headquartered in New York City with additional offices in Chennai and Pune, India, the company is backed by investors including JAM FINTOP, Avalanche’s Blizzard, Intervest, Hamon Investment Group and Blockseed Ventures.
