During a recent NBA game, fans were asked to “Yeet” to Jey Uso’s theme song and the response showed just how popular the WWE star is.

WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H has commented on their star Jey Uso’s appearance following the company’s premium live event Backlash.

Former Bloodline member Uso is one of the biggest stars in the WWE right now.

It’s no surprise that fans around the world are watching the wrestler’s name chanted live on television. Something similar recently happened in the NBA, where fans were asked to say “Yeet” for Jey’s theme song during a game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic on May 5.

During the game’s timeout, the DJ played the superstar’s song and the fans knew exactly what to do.

Triple H shared the moment on social media platform

The WWE action moved to Lyon, France, as the company hosted its first major event since WrestleMania 40.

That night, Uso competed in a World Heavyweight Championship match against Damian Priest. After an intense battle between the two stars, the title match saw some interference from Priest’s Judgment Day in the closing stages.

The distraction of the duo of JD McDonagh and Finn Balor allowed the champion to hit Jey with the South of Heaven. He then pinned the challenger to retain his championship.

After a heartbreaking loss, Uso thanked fans for their love and support throughout his journey. In response to his electric entrance at the LDLC Arena in France, Jey shared a post on X from The Usos official account.

The message read: “It’s the homie to my right…-jey”.

During his time as a member of The Bloodline, Jey shared the Undisputed Tag-Team Championship with his brother Jimmy. The duo later split following a betrayal storyline between the two at SummerSlam 2023.

Since leaving The Family, Jey has moved on to Monday Night Raw. Unfortunately, he has lost both the Intercontinental Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship since arriving on the new weekly show.

As for the NBA matchup, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Orlando Magic 106-94 to advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals. Donovan Mitchell was the star of the evening with 39 points, nine rebounds and five assists. The Cavaliers will next take on the Boston Celtics.
