Dispensing solutions provider Aptar Closures has developed the E-Disc Top closure, a new disc top dispensing solution for e-commerce applications.

Made from fully recyclable polypropylene and available with post-consumer recycled (PCR) content, the closure also supports brands in their efforts to improve sustainability.

The elimination of shrink bands, liners and other excess packaging components further reduces waste.

The E-Disc Top closure improves durability and eliminates the need for additional liners.

It further simplifies supply chains and shortens lead times. This could lead to cost savings for brands as they can avoid costs for additional protective packaging required by major online retailers, according to the company.

The E-Disc Top closure is manufactured in the USA and will be available in a 24-410 flat neck finish, suitable for medium to thick viscosities.
