Samuel L. Jackson and Henry Golding Will Appear in ‘Head Games’, The New Sci-Fi Psychological Thriller

Samuel L. Jackson and Henry Golding will play the lead role in the upcoming sci-fi psychological thriller film ‘Head Games.’ The story focuses on Jacob (Golding), a corporate spy, who takes the identity of a Chef to Graham, the founder of the neuroprosthetics company. Jacob’s mission was to creep into his boss’s villa and steal details about the new invention. When his plans unfold, it will lead to a mind game between the two of them.

The film will be directed by Anthony Mandler, who is famous for directing Kelvin Harrison jr. crime drama Monster and Letitia Wright’s film Surrounded. Head Games is his third directorial film. Regarding the movie,

Mandler said he was more excited to bring the brilliant script to life. He also added that Sam and Henry are the better actors to bring life to the characters Graham and Jacob.

The script of Head Games is written by Colin Liddle, who penned the film Penny Dreadful: City of Angeles, which was released in 2020 on Showtime.
The film’s producers include Range Media Partners’ Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Fred Berger, Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Josh Glick, and Everlast Pictures’ Adonis Tountas. It will be executive produced by Range Media Partners’ Casey Durant, Greenstein, and Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Zac Frognowski and Kesh Keswani.

The film’s principal photography is scheduled to start in October. The project’s international sale is handled by A Higher Standard, founded by former head of Millenium Media, Jeffrey Greenstein. Finance and Range Media Partners will handle the domestic sale.

Samuel L. Jackson’s debut leading role was in the film Together for Days. His breakthrough movie was Jungle Fever, in which he won the Special Jury Prize for Best Supporting Actor at the Cannes Film Festival in 1991. He got nominations for Golden Globes for several films, including Pulp Fiction, Against the Wall, A Time to Kill, and Jackie Brown.

His recently released movies are Argylle and Damaged. He also voiced the upcoming animated film The Garfield Movie. His other upcoming projects are Unholy Trinity and The Piano Lesson.

Henry Golding is best known for his films in Crazy Rich Asians, Last Christmas, The Gentleman, and A Simple Favor. Golding last appeared in The Tiger’s Apprentice and The Ministry of Urgentlemanly Warfare. His upcoming projects are The Old Guard, Daniela Forever, and Untitled A Simple Favor sequel.
