NATO warned they are close to ‘critical mass’ point of nuclear war by sending F-16s

Ukraine is set to receive a fleet of F-16 fighter jets and Russia has warned it could escalate the war into a nuclear conflict, accusing NATO members of ‘deliberate provocation’.

The Kremlin has criticized “NATO” for provoking Russia with the delivery of multi-role fighter jets and the Foreign Ministry “cannot ignore” that the F-16s can also carry nuclear payloads.

The Russian Foreign Ministry added in a statement: “We cannot ignore the fact that these aircraft are dual-purpose platforms that can be used for both nuclear and non-nuclear tasks.

“Whatever modification of the aircraft will be delivered (to Ukraine), we will treat them as nuclear capable and we will regard this move by the United States and NATO as a deliberate provocation.”

Moscow warns it will attack ‘any British military facility’ if Kiev uses British missiles in Russia

On Monday, the former Russian president warned of a “world catastrophe,” calling Western leaders “infantile idiots” who are “irresponsible scoundrels,” adding that Ukraine is a “non-existent country.”

The Ukrainian Air Force confirmed last Wednesday that it will receive the first batch of F-16s within days.

Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Ilya Yevlash said the multi-role fighter jets could arrive after Orthodox Easter on May 5.

Yevlash refused to provide the dates because the air force “doesn’t think about these dates” because the West changed them so many times during the war.

Vladimir Putin has warned that he will order missile attacks on NATO military air bases where F-16s are ready to be deployed in Ukraine.

Putin said the strikes will hit the supersonic fighters if they carry nuclear weapons, even though no Western government has said anything about nuclear weapons.

Putin told pilots that Russia is prepared to destroy all F-16s sent by NATO members “wherever they are.”

The Russian despot said: “If they are used from airports in third countries, of course they become a legitimate target for us, wherever they are.

“We will destroy their aircraft in the same way we destroy their tanks, armored vehicles and other equipment, including multiple launch missile systems.”

Putin added: “The F-16s are also carriers of nuclear weapons, and we will also have to take that into account when organizing combat work.”
