Lakeesha Dixon-Starnes Charged After Stealing $32,192 From Hooper Corporation – Scoop: Nashville

A Davidson County Grand Jury indicted 41-year-old Lakeesha Dixon-Starnes on March 13 for theft of property and forgery^e. The indictment alleges that Dixon-Starnes, between 4^e day of January 2023 and the 27^e February 2023, in Davidson County, Tennessee, knowingly obtained or exercised control over certain property, to wit: a sum of money valued at $10,000 or more, but less than $60,000, owned by Hooper Corporation, without their effective consent, and has forged a note described as follows: check number 30193 drawn on the BMO Harris Bank account of General Heating and Air Conditioning, dated January 4^e, 2023 and made payable to Important Signatures LLC for $32,193.60, valued at $10,000 or more but less than $60,000, with the intent to defraud or injure another, to wit: Hooper Corporation. Dixon-Starnes was taken into custody on April 27^e2024.

Lakeesha N Dixon-Starnes of Alameda Street in Nashville, Tennessee, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 27, charged with theft and forgery. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $20,000.
