Victorian psychopath
Deadline reports that Margaret Qualley will star Victorian psychopatha ‘psychological horror-thriller’ from director Zachary Wigon (Shrine), based on a script by author Virginia Feito and adapted from her own upcoming novel. Set in 1858, the story follows “a young, eccentric governess named Winifred Notty (Qualley) who arrives at the secluded Gothic country house known as Ensor House. Winifred’s responsibilities include teaching the children table manners and educating them about their family’s history, while keeping her psychopathic tendencies hidden. As Winifred adjusts to life at Ensor House, staff members begin to inexplicably disappear, and the estate’s owners begin to wonder if there is something wrong with their new governess.’
Utopia
A man searching for his missing wife discovers that she has been kidnapped and brainwashed into taking part in a Westworld-esque fantasy theme park for the idle rich in the trailer for Utopia.
The invisible bird of prey
Meanwhile, a theme park paleontologist must stop the rampage of an invisible dinosaur in the trailer for The Invisible Raptor, a horror/comedy starring Mike Capes, David Shackelford, Caitlin McHugh Stamos, Sandy Martin, Bobby Gilchrist, Richard Riehle and Sean Astin.
It is striking that this is the second monster movie about an invisible dinosaur after 1966 Sound of horrorwhich made the price-conscious concept work really well!
Grave robber
