Eddie Howe, meanwhile, has opted to include Sean Longstaff and Joe Willock in his squad after impressing in the cup win against Chelsea in midweek.
The duo did not start the Magpies’ previous league match, which was a 2-0 defeat to the Blues six days ago, but will have their chance to shine today, while Alexander Isak and Antony Gordon can perform well despite the setbacks. .
