Pete Davidson makes SNL return for John Mulaney Musical Sketch
Pete Davison made a surprise return to Saturday evening live for another musical sketch with John Mulaney.
It’s become somewhat of a tradition for the pair, who expanded their repertoire of musical sketches tonight with “Port Authority Duane Reade.” Davidson starred in the sketch with Andrew Dismukes as two men who enter the New York Port Authority’s Duane Reade bus station to purchase some strange items. The employee, played by Mulaney, is surprised when Davidson asks for a gallon of milk.
“You mean the gallon of milk surrounded by cans of Twisted iced tea in the refrigerator that’s hotter than the store?” Mulaney asks. Dismukes also points out that buying milk at a gas station is probably a bad idea, but Davidson is ruthless.
The first musical moment has arrived: Kenan Thompson and Ego Nwodim appear dressed as possums to sing a twisted version of “Circle of Life” with new lyrics, hinting that the milk in that jug behind the counter came from them .
Andy Samberg also appeared in the sketch, playing the dead baby bear that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. left in Central Park.
