What went wrong for the Green Bay Packers against the Detroit Lions?

The Green Bay Packers defeated the Detroit Lions in total yards by a significant margin on Sunday afternoon.
Unfortunately that included yards due to yellow flags.
The Packers gained 411 yards on offense, but were also penalized ten times in an ugly 24-14 loss to the NFC North leaders. They had the only turnover of the game (a Jordan Love interception that was returned for a touchdown).
In other words, it’s hard to beat one of the best teams in the NFL if you also beat yourself.
It was the Lions’ first outdoor game on Sunday, but the visitors played a much cleaner game on the sodden Lambeau Field turf.
Meanwhile, the Packers made their own mess. They were plagued with bad snaps, missed passes and way too many fouls. You can’t expect to beat a team as talented as the Lions as you glide through the game.
