Prominent white supremacist Richard Spencer endorses Kamala Harris
One of the United States’ top white supremacists is urging his followers to support Vice President Harris in next week’s presidential election.
Richard Spencer, an outspoken racist, anti-Semite and admirer of Nazism who coined the term “alt-right” and was a prominent speaker when he participated in the deadly 2017 rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, called Harris the “best manager in the world.” American government’. Empire.”
Spencer – who also gained international recognition after singing ‘Hail Trump! Hail our people!” and the Nazi salute at a white nationalist event in November 2016 – also condemned former President Trump’s strong support for Israel.
Harris wanted to be “all things to all people” on the Israel issue, but ultimately he preferred where she ended up, Spencer said in a nearly 12-minute video on X.
“At the DNC she said she supports Israel 100%. She will provide Israel with lethal assistance. She also said that the suffering is enormous, and she also said that the Palestinians deserve their own state, their own sovereignty, that they need a government, a legitimate organization that will allow them to live in peace, side by side with Israel. . . I criticize that, but I still think it is better than Donald Trump.”
“If there is a regional conflict between Israel and Iran, it seems much more likely that Trump will not only support Israel, but participate in it and bomb Iranian nuclear facilities,” Spencer added.
He also liked Harris because “(she) goes with the flow for better or for worse.”
“And in my view, that current is towards centrism, towards rational government, towards a kind of democratic hegemony. . . This is “something I can support responsibly. So I am happy to vote for Kamala Harris.”
Spencer thinks Harris would be more supportive of Ukraine.
Spencer said he planned to vote directly for the Democratic party in his home state of Montana, naming Democratic Sen. John Tester and Democratic House candidate Monica Tranel as other candidates he would support.
Spencer is far from the first white supremacist to give anti-Israel Democrats a second look. Former Ku Klux Klan boss David Duke publicly praised team representative Ilhan Omar as “the most important member of the United States Congress!”
Spencer, who famously endorsed Trump in 2016, said the former president disappointed him.
“Trump has shut down discussion on important ideas,” Spencer said. “And he has amplified the idiocy.”
The Harris campaign did not respond to The Post’s request for comment.
