Tigers regain lead | The Clemson Insider
PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Clemson regained the lead over Pittsburgh in the second quarter of Saturday’s game at Acrisure Stadium.
Quarterback Cade Klubnik gave the Tigers a 14–7 lead with 11:18 to play in the second quarter with a 28-yard TD pass to Antonio Williams to cap a three-play, 75-yard drive. It took Clemson 1:58 to score.
Williams’ touchdown came courtesy of a 45-yard Klubnik to Bryant Wesco pass on the previous play. Klubnik was in a shot when Wesco opened up in the middle of the field.
