It wasn’t easy, but the Boston Celtics emerged victorious on Saturday night thanks to a buzzer-beating three-point shot from Jayson Tatum.
Tatum’s heroics gave the Celtics a 126-123 win over the Toronto Raptors at TD Garden. The Celtics now have an 11-3 record in second place in the Eastern Conference.
The Raptors played very hard with a shorthanded roster on the second night of a back-to-back. Jakob Poeltl scored a career-high 35 points and RJ Barrett scored his first career triple-double, but it wasn’t enough for Toronto. The Raptors are at the bottom of the NBA standings with a 2-12 record.
