‘Saturday Night Live’ celebrates 50 years of comedy
Live from New York, it’s the 50th anniversary of ‘Saturday Night Live’.
“Saturday Night Live” airs its seventh episode of season 50 this weekend, with the host serving dual roles as host and musical guest.
This Saturday’s episode will be hosted by singer Charli The Grammy-nominated singer previously appeared in two pre-recorded sketches from the old comedy show: “The Christmas Socks” (with actor Paul Rudd) and “Meatballs” (with actor Oscar Isaac).
Last weekend, comedian and actor Bill Burr hosted the show for the second time. Singer-songwriter Mk.gee was the musical guest.

Who is the musical guest on ‘SNL’ on November 16?
British pop star Charli XCX will also appear as musical guest this weekend, marking her third time in the role on the show.
The musician’s album ‘Brat’, released in June, has taken the world by storm, with the bright ‘brat green’ color dominating summer outfits and the ‘Apple Dance’ taking over social media. The album hit No. 19 on the Billboard Top 200 chart on Thursday.

The Nov. 16 episode of “SNL” can be watched live on NBC at 11:30 PM ET/8:30 PM PT. Viewers can also stream it the next day on Peacock.
Who’s in the cast of ‘SNL’ season 50?
James Austin Johnson reprized his role as newly elected President Donald Trump, who claimed victory last week. Bowen Yang has played the role of newly elected Vice President JD Vance.
Former cast member Maya Rudolph also played Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of November’s presidential election.
