UNION COUNTY, NC (WBTV) – Two people were injured following a house explosion Sunday morning near Weddington, according to Union County Fire Marshal Jon Williams.
Multiple calls came in for an explosion on Steeple Chase Circle just before 9 a.m
Williams said there was no fire and the home is considered a total loss.
One person has serious injuries and another has minor injuries, Williams said.
Search and rescue crews are stabilizing the home so the Union County Fire Marshal’s Office can begin investigating the cause.
