Los Angeles Chargers rookie receiver Ladd McConkey suffered a shoulder injury during the first quarter of the NFL’s Week 11 game against the Cincinnati Bengals on NBC’s Sunday Night Football at SoFi Stadium.
McConkey went to the blue medical tent to be evaluated. The Chargers announced that McConkey would return was questionable, but he returned during the second quarter and had an 11-yard catch just before the 2-minute warning.
“The rookie from Georgia reached into the right collarbone area,” play-by-play announcer Mike Tirico said as McConkey went down with the injury.
McConkey had one catch for 20 yards before leaving the game.
McConkey came into Sunday’s game as the Chargers’ leading receiver this season. He was a second-round pick of the Chargers out of Georgia in the 2024 NFL draft.
