Lindsay Lohan’s deep LBD nailed winter party wear
Lindsay Lohan is in her Netflix Christmas rom-com era — and her fashion proves it.
The actor, who signed a three-part film deal with the streamer two years ago, was spotted in New York City yesterday looking like – well – a real festive rom-com heroine. Her stylish look matched chic evening wear with a cozy, wintery twist.
Lohan wore a little black mini dress with a deep keyhole cutout on the chest. She paired the LBD with sheer black tights, black knee-high heel boots and a woven black tote bag. She stayed warm with a black double-breasted coat with large gold statement buttons and a crew neckline. She wore her blonde hair in long waves and a side part; she is the queen of the Millennials, after all. Finally, she completed the look with oversized sunglasses.
Lohan visited the Bravo Clubhouse with her mother, Dina, and former co-star Lacey Chabert. Lohan and Chabert may have been there to film a press segment; both have a holiday rom-com on Netflix this year.
Lohan’s movie, Our little secret, is her third rom-com with the streamer. She shines next Pretty little liars Ian Harding as a woman who has to spend Christmas with her ex because, it turns out, their new partners are siblings.
Meanwhile, Chabert shines Hot icya movie about – well – a sexy snowman that comes to life (Yes, it is a must-watch.) with Schitts Creekby Dustin Milligan.
It looks like Netflix is keen to make their holiday cinematic universe a thing because it has a bit of a Christmas movie in it Hot icy. Chabert and Milligan’s characters are actually shown watching a clip from Lohan’s previous Netflix rom-com, Fall before Christmas.
“That’s so funny,” Chabert’s character says in the film. “That looks just like a girl I went to school with.” Of course, this is a nod to Lohan and Chabert’s 2003 classic, Mean girls.
Speaking to Cat Quinn, Chabert said: “I’m so happy that Lindsay and I have reunited through our Netflix movies. We’ve known each other since we were little kids and it feels like a full circle moment.”
