The Pacific Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks meet Monday in college basketball action from Bud Walton Arena. Here’s an Arkansas vs. Pacific prediction. We’ll look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best pick for Arkansas vs. Pacific.
Pacific Tigers betting example
The Tigers have been busy so far this year, with a whopping five games in the books. Pacific earned wins in their first trio, knocking out Jessup, San Jose State and Life Pacific in that time. Since then, there have been losses to Hawaii and Northern Arizona.
In Thursday’s game against Northern Arizona, the Tigers fell behind 30-24 in the second half. Pacific got better from there, but still lost a tough 60-57. Elias Ralph led the team to a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. Pacific will face Missouri, Arkansas-Pine Bluff and CS Fullerton after this game.
Arkansas Razorbacks Betting Preview
On the Arkansas side, they got past Lipscomb quite easily in their opener this year. However, the Razorbacks ran into a strong Baylor team in game two and lost 72-67. Game three, however, was a significant win over Troy.
In the game against the Trojans on Wednesday, the Razorbacks found themselves in trouble at halftime, trailing 27-26. However, Arkansas woke up in the second half and scored 39 more points in a 65-49 win. Adou Thiero (seven rebounds) and Boogie Fland (seven assists) each had 19 points.

- Pacific has lost 18 of its last 19 night games.
- Arkansas has won the first half in 45 of its last 52 games against non-conference opponents at Bud Walton Arena.
Why the Pacific Tigers will win

- Pacific has won the first half in five of its last six games against non-conference opponents.
Arkansas vs Pacific Prediction
I’ll probably just stay in Arkansas. However, I would like to see a much better start than the Razorbacks had against Troy. Arkansas ultimately shot 42.9 percent from the field and 43.5 percent (10 of 23) from outside. That said, the Razorbacks were outscored on boards 37-30 (13-9 offensively) and had 14 turnovers. Overall it wasn’t a great effort, but the W came anyway.
As for Pacific, they’ll have their hands full with this one. The Tigers have scored a total of 123 points in their last two outings and I don’t see them hitting 70 here unless it’s a one-sided Razorbacks blowout from the start. That said, all the pressure here is on Arkansas.
