Chris Brown Joins J. Valentine on New Song ‘UnLonely’

J. Valentine teams up with Chris Brown for his new single ‘UnLonely’. They wrote the song together with Lonny Bereal and TVerse.

The Tank-produced song is an anthem for independent women. About the song, J. Valentine tells Rated R&B exclusively, “Just because a woman chooses to be alone doesn’t mean she’s lonely.”

On reuniting with Breezy, Valentine says: “Our last collaboration was the ‘UP’ R&B remix (in 2011), so it was a good thing we made another banger for my comeback!”

“UnLonely” is the fourth track from J. Valentine’s upcoming debut album, Conversations with women. He previously shared ‘Me On Me’, ‘The Day After’ and ‘Before The Streets’.

As Valentine noted above, he and Brown are no strangers to collaboration. In 2010, Valentine joined Brown’s “My Girl Like Them Girls” by him In Zone 2 mixtape. The following year they collaborated for Brown’s “Marvins Room (Remix)” from his mixtape Boy in custody. In 2012, Brown appeared in the Valentine’s Day issue ‘Bed Bath & Beyond’.

Brown recently appeared on Tank and J. Valentine’s 100th episode R&B Money Podcast. In the 90-minute conversation, Brown reflected on his early beginnings in the music industry, his evolution as an artist, his career as a businessman, his top five R&B songs and singers, and much more.
