TFT update 14.9 b patch introduces a major fix for Ghostly and nerfs Lissandra

TFT’s new 14.9 b patch update has resolved a serious bug plaguing Ghostly after its recent rework and nerfing Lissandra as the developers try to implement a fix for her frustrating gameplay.

Teamfight Tactics has released a B patch for the 14.9 update. The recent May 2 patch was released mainly to fix an annoying bug that Ghostly players were experiencing. In addition to the bug fix, the developers also introduced a nerf to Lissandra after many players expressed their frustrations while playing against the unit.

After reworking the trait, Ghostly should provide more support to affected units. Previously, the bug prevented Ghostly units from dealing more damage. This made the trait completely unplayable, as no one would receive the bonus damage that resulted from it.

Lissandra also received nerfs to her mana in the B patch, as the five-cost unit caused quite a bit of frustration among the playerbase. The unit would encase an enemy in ice, stun him and then throw him into the rear line. Lissandra is currently a hard counter to melee carries and is being nerfed as such.

The developers have stated that there would be a more permanent fix for the unit in Patch 14.10 that would address its anti-melee capabilities.

Patch 14.9 also saw the arrival of new Artifact items, many of which have seemingly made their way to the player base. However, the Talisman of Ascension has proven to be a bit too strong for its own good, so the developers shortened it a bit.
