Sharon L. Snyder, a beloved wife, loving mother and second mother to many, passed away on April 29, 2024 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville.

She was born May 31, 1961 in Punxsutawney.

Sharon was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of all who knew her as she enjoyed showering everyone with love and always made sure to let everyone know how special they were to her.

Sharon’s kind and caring spirit meant that she often reminded her children to be kind and gentle to everyone every day when she sent them to school.

Her warm heart and gentle soul will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her role as a devoted wife and mother, Sharon had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought joy to her life.

She enjoyed taking pictures, sewing, making jewelry, taking dune buggy rides with her husband, hiking, and chatting with anyone.

But most of all, Sharon loved her family and enjoyed being a good aunt to all her nieces and nephews.

Sharon attended Bethlehem Ohl Church.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Vivian (Drummond) DuPont, her brother Dick DuPont and her father-in-law Dean Snyder.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years Larry D. Snyder, son Christopher Snyder, daughter Miranda Snyder, mother-in-law Betty Snyder, sisters Carol (Tom) Marshall, Patti (Gary) Airgood, Barb DuPont; sister-in-law Nancy (Ken) Woodrow; brother-in-law Gary (Sue) Snyder; several nieces and nephews; together with other family members and friends.

Services will be private and entrusted to McCabe Funeral Home, Inc.
