  • The facelifted Cadillac Escalade shows it all in new spy shots ahead of its upcoming debut.
  • Visual updates focus on the redesigned face with new headlights and a fresh bumper.
  • The interior features the massive 55-inch display found in the all-electric Escalade IQ.

What appears to be a near-production prototype of the facelifted 2025 Cadillac Escalade V was taken on a trip to McDonald’s without wearing the usual camouflage gear. Luckily, our spy photographers were on hand to capture snapshots that reveal the SUV’s completely updated styling inside out, giving us a first look at the upcoming updates that bring the ICE-powered Escalade more in line with newer members of the Cadillac lineup .

The Escalade’s redesigned face features a new set of lighting units inspired by those in the Lyriq. The high beam has been moved to the lower part of the headlights, further emphasizing the vertical LEDs. The bumper has been modified accordingly, with a more sculpted look, an apparently larger grille and more complex lower intakes. Please note: this is the Escalade V, which explains the sporty character and the special badges.

The profile has largely been carried over from the existing model, in addition to the new 24-inch alloy wheels that nicely fill the massive wheel arches. The wheels are shod with Bridgestone Alenza A/S 02 rubber in size 285/40R24. The rear looks largely unchanged, but look closer and you’ll see a pair of sleeker reflectors and a slightly re-profiled rear bumper that retains the four exhaust pipes.

The revised interior appears to be shared with the all-electric Escalade IQ, featuring the massive 55-inch display that spans the entire width of the dashboard. We also see the new two-spoke steering wheel and the slanted 11-inch touchscreen on the center console. The prototype has other types of equipment in its interior, showing that it is still being tested.

At this time, we don’t know the extent of any mechanical or chassis upgrades for the facelifted Escalade family. However, the featured Escalade V will likely retain the 6.2-liter supercharged V8, which produces 682 hp (508 kW / 691 hp) and 653 lb-ft (884 Nm) of torque in the outgoing model. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via a ten-speed automatic transmission.

Judging by the prototypes driving around in public without any camouflage, the debut of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade should follow sometime in the coming weeks.
