League preview: Cobh Ramblers -v- Bray Wanderers – The home of Irish football

COBH RAMBLERS

Cobh Ramblers will look to stay in touch with the First Division play-off places when they host Bray Wanderers at St Colman’s Park (kick-off is at 7.45pm).

The Rams occupy eighth place and are eight points behind fifth-placed Finn Harps.

But Gary Hunt’s side have won just twice this season and managed just one victory in their last seven games.

They have also conceded 21 goals in their 11 league matches but have scored 15 times, which is five more than seventh-placed Treaty United.

Cobh has not released any team news for Friday’s match.

BRAY WANDERERS

Bray Wanderers will be without JImmy Corcoran and Ben Feeney for Friday’s trip to Cork, where they take on Cobh Ramblers.

The Seagulls have won their last four league games in a row and are well in play-off positions.

But boss Ian Ryan wants his side to keep doing what they are doing.

“We have to prove ourselves every week and every team in the division will give us a game,” he told his club’s media team after a win over Kerry last week.

“We get a boost and confidence from winning four times in a row, but it means very little.”

Callum Thompson and Cole Omorehiomwan are doubtful for Friday’s match.

Referee: Mark Moynihan.
