“They called me an idiot!” MTG fumes over bad press from Fox News

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was outraged Friday over the negative press she received from Fox News.

During an appearance on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” podcast, the Georgia congresswoman demanded vindication in her efforts to impeach House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) on the grounds that she is the Republican establishment would have been exposed for being in cahoots with the Democrats.

“Because of your efforts… Politico reports that (Democrats and Republicans) will have a formal power-sharing agreement!” Bannon exclaimed during the interview. “Now that you’ve smoked them out, they had to come forward!”

Democrats and Republicans have not announced a “formal power-sharing agreement.” However, Democratic Party leaders said they would vote to introduce Greene’s motion to impeach Johnson.

And I think the great thing about it is I think the Democrats need to be honest. At least Mike Johnson gave them everything: a wide-open border policy, fully funded.”

Johnson helped broker a bipartisan deal in the Senate that would have introduced the toughest new immigration restrictions the United States has seen in decades.

Greene then complained that Johnson was “fully funding” the Justice Department and the FBI, which seems like an odd complaint from a member of a party whose biggest criticism of Democrats four years ago was about their alleged desire to “dismantle the police” ‘. “
