“By God’s Grace I Am Able to Create the Music I Love” – Randy Travis Shares Heartfelt Message on New Song “Where That Came From”

It’s 2024 and we’re waking up to new music from Randy Travis.

Country music fans have waited more than a decade for new music from the legendary Randy Travis, and that wait is finally over with the release of “Where That Came From.” The official announcement came earlier this week, and needless to say, Randy Travis fans were thrilled.

Although Travis has remained involved in the country music industry and community since suffering a stroke in 2013, the medical event left him unable to sing, play and perform. However, his wife Mary has teased in the past that Randy had a number of unreleased songs and remote projects, and with the wonder of modern artificial intelligence (AI) technology, Randy Travis is back in the studio making music.

As he shared in this post earlier this week:

“In the coming week you will hear much more about the extraordinary team of people who came together to make this magical moment in my career possible. In the meantime, know that when it comes to me singing songs for you, there’s always more where that came from.

Thanks for singing along all these years.”

Teasers released ahead of the new music show have family, friends, and fellow artists (like Josh Turner and Cody Johnson) shedding tears while listening to Randy Travis’ new song, and rightly so. It’s really emotional to hear the great Randy Travis doing what he does best again.

There’s no denying that the country music world is thankful for the new song “Where That Came From,” and it’s clear that Travis himself is counting his blessings and he shared this message to officially launch his new single:

“Eleven years ago I never would have imagined that I would be able to play a role in music production of any kind, but by God’s grace and the support of family, friends, fellow artists and fans, I am able to create the music that I want so much. dearly loved.”
