AEW star and former two-time TNT champion Christian Cage says he cares “two things” about a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

On the May 1 edition of AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage was revealed by The Young Bucks as Swerve Strickland’s challenger for the AEW World Title at Double Or Nothing 2024.

Prior to his arrival in All Elite Wrestling in 2021, Cage enjoyed two successful stints in WWE, where he is a former two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Forced to retire due to injuries, he returned to in-ring action at WWE Royal Rumble 2021 before eventually reinventing himself in AEW.

While speaking at Steel City Con (via Fandom Spotlite), a fan asked Christian Cage if he agreed that he belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. He replied:

“I don’t give a shit about the Hall of Fame. Let me know if there is actually a Hall of Fame. Is there a real Hall of Fame? Right.”

Speaking about his current run in AEW, the biggest run of his storied career, Christian said:

“I enjoyed all my runs”

“At 50, I’m the best wrestler in the world, and I don’t think there’s any debate about that at all. I’m the absolute best on the mic. I’m the best in the ring, bell to bell. No one can touch me.”

“So yeah, I would say this is probably the best run of my career.”

Christian Cage challenges Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship on Sunday, May 26 at AEW Double Or Nothing 2024. Click here for the full lineup for the show.
