The active safety systems Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Descent Control (HDC) and Hill Start Assist (HSA) have now also been introduced in all models with manual transmission. Traction Control Systems (TCS) that automatically applies braking when it detects that the wheel is losing traction on the road, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) that helps prevent the vehicle from skidding due to loss of traction on the road, Hill Descent Control that reduces the vehicle’s range maintains the vehicle from 4 to 30 km/h to prevent excessive speed when going downhill and Hill Start Assist that reduces the chance of a rear-end collision on slopes.

To enhance the passive safety system, all passenger pick-up models now come standard with ‘Rear Seat Occupant Detection Sensors’ and a ‘3-point seat belt for each of the three rear seat occupants’. In addition, there is a seat belt warning buzzer for rear seat occupants, and an icon is also placed on the instrument panel on the dashboard. This alerts the driver to make sure everyone is wearing their seat belt, making the journey safer for everyone. Thanks to a change in seat design, the rear seats now offer a greater degree of inclination, providing a more comfortable driving position.
