UPPSC starts registration for Technical Assistant roles in Group C

The Uttar Pradesh Sublicate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has started the application process for recruitment to 3446 vacant posts of Group C. Below, recruitment will be conducted for the post of Technical Assistant in UP Agriculture Department.

Interested candidates can apply for the vacancies by visiting the official website of UPSSSC at https://upsssc.gov.in/. As per the notification released, the last date to apply for the post is May 31, 2024, and corrections can remain in the application form till June 7, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria

The students who want to apply for the post of Technical Assistant in Agriculture Department must have the certificate of UPSSSC PET 2023 exam. In addition, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or an equivalent degree such as a B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. Horticulture/B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc. Forestry/B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering, B.Sc. (Home Science)/Community of the University of Agriculture and Technology Must have a four-year degree in science.

Age limit

From July 1, 2024, the minimum age to apply for the posts will be 21 years, while the maximum age for applicants will be 40 years. Candidates from the reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per the rules.

Selection process

For the recruitment process, the candidates must pass the Technical Assistant Group C Main Exam. The candidates will be selected for the exam on the basis of UPSSSC PET 2023 score. For the main examination, the candidates whose actual score or normalized score in PET 2023 is zero or negative will not be selected.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘UPSSSC Recruitment 2024’ link.

Step 3: Fill the required details in the form and submit it.

Step 4: Upload the necessary documents according to the instructions.

Step 5: Check the details again and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Download and save a copy of the application form for future reference.
